Just a note also, to anyone that connected with a seller using EC21, if you feel you have been scammed by one of their sellers, you can file a complaint. That happened to me 2 weeks agop, and www.watrade.com refunded my money so I would withdraw the complaint. EC21 froze their account.

I accidently stumbled upon this site trying to review a possilble scam.. after much reading I have decided to devote a bit of my valuable time to write this comment. It is definately a shame for all of those who have been ripped off. THE LIST mentions a couple of sites which I have personally dealt with which is a shame because they have done me no wrong (i just want to mention here, anything authentically original, i always have checked) "thus far anyhow" so I also suspect, out of shear speculation and just general mistrust, the author has taken it upon himself to construe all Chinese suppliers (with probably good cause)as a pack of fraudulent scam artists. Well that may be a bit of a harsh criticism because there is one he does favour and actually mentions as worth of attention - www.play-asia.com.
Totally irrelavent as most of the people here are attempting to source sites that deal in items outside the Gaming cats. A great thing you do Chris trying to help your readers but do you think that its possible you are doing some of these suppliers an unfair injustice. One supplier I deal with (just going on 13 months now)makes no qualms about asking me if i want authentic or replicas (a glorified name for fake, yes we all know that, I,d like to think not all of us are entirely stupid. This is my opinion on that subject. If I as a buyer, didnt mind buying a rep of something that was made to high standard (as most are) yet paid less than half the price i would have to pay in true retail because of a "name" or some rip off shops overheads and greadiness, than that should be my choice. I have customers who are given options. The rep or the real deal. Guess what, 9 times out of 10 they want the rep. actually that depends on what the item is. Anyhow, they love the stuff and so do I.
Now do me a favour and dont quote me any copyright laws please. Its a personal choice from myself and some of my customers. I am not trying to negate any of the good you do here or anyone else for that matter. It is import for everyone to be careful but when it comes to counterfiets as you put it, I think it only fair that you mention in your site somewhere that whilst these people may make probably the best fakes in the world, that doesnt make them bad and unworthy of sales, especially the ones that will be straight up front about it. Its the take your money and run guys that deserve to really be on your list. My tid bit of advice for the day - You have been warned already so take care dealing with Alibaba suppliers. Case study - I recieved an email from a posting I put on Alibaba by a person called Sharon - I went to her site at Alibaba and noticed the contact was online so I spoke to him. I told him Sharon had sent me an email. "Who is Sharon" he asked - and with that I will leave you all to figure out who Sharon was. Happy seeking and be careful all.

Hi,I am Joe and live in Beijing,This company is a fraud....do not fall for their attractive offers.The address in Beijing doesnt exist and the telephone number is a mobile number,no land line is given on their web page.

I have also purchase items already paid for. and have been waiting for 3 weeks now. when i put order number in there site it says "awaiting payment" then are not responding to my many emails.

I have been invited to the british Embassy in Beijing next january to put mine and other peoples cases forward about these chinese scammers. My solicitor and i are compiling a file of people who wish to have their cases heard. It may be ok if you bought a 10$ item from an unknown, untrusted company somewhere in the China, but I have read some of you guys paid like +1000 euros.

www.wsry168.com is from Spammers and Scammers in China. They started on Ebay selling all kinds of small cheap items to build a customer list and now Spam people daily.

I've been reporting the SPam to abuse@hotmail.com and abuse@gmail.com and they close the accounts. But the Spammers keep making new email accounts to Spam with. I say lets all band together and keep reporting the Spam until these theives go away.

Before buying anything from them, I decided to make a research about those websites, and I reached your webpage and some others.

First of all, I wanted to inform you that those 2 websites are in reality the same (same owner, same address in China...). On those 2 sites are also mentioned other webpages : www.eshop-china.com, www.nike-sneakers.com, which are on your list.
So I was wondering if those 2 sites shouldn't also be in your list ? I know that they propose credit card payments and that their e-mail addresses are not hotmail or yahoo, but it seems strange to me that their website ends with a ".net" and not a ".com" as they present themselves as a business site. What is your opinion about that ?

Then I also wanted to mention that Kyrya, who sent the first comment concerning www.nike-sneaker.com, cited some other suspicious websites which are not on your lits :
- she cited "www.nike-shoes-sale.net", while on your list there is "www.nike-shoes-sell.com"

This is my experience and i want to share it with you. I hope you will learn something from it....

Right now i live in USA, Ohio( before i lived in Romania for 20 years and i just moved here in USA) and i wanted to start a business with phones and electronics. I was talking with all kinds of people from all over the world. In the end after 3 months of negotiation and different things such as payment, delivery and policies i decided to go to UK, LONDON.
I was planning to buy products worth of 40,000.00 US DOLLARS.
They told me that they are going to pay for the room at hotel and everythinh else.
During my conversation with them , everything was ok, They provided papers, everything related with the company. I even checked at the police and everythig in UK-LONDON. Everything was perfect. I actually thought that its going to work out.
I went from Cleveland-Ohio to London,UK. Spend 1000 dollars for a flight ticket and i had 20,000.00 cash and my credit cards.
I got in London and actually met them.
3 guys and a chick. all of them dressed really nice and fancy .

I was happy and i was thinking how much money i'm going to make.
We went to theirs office. They told me that they just moved in that office. Anyhow, they brought samples from each phone that i requested in total almost 20 samples, also some GPS and some laptops.

We talked for 2-3 hours and after we had lunch. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT
I swear to GOD ....they are professional.

[The only think that i have to thank myself is that i'm going to school and i'm taking chinese. I don't speak chinese but i know like a couple of words.( THANK YOU GOD FOR that chinese class).]

After lunch i agreed to buy those products for ridiculous prices.
They sold me the Apple IPHONE ORIGINAL VERSION 8gb UNLOCKED FOR 230 US DOLLARS. 230 DOLLARS GUYS? over here in USA IS 430 only with AT&T....i was looking at a huge profit just from the iphones.
I bought products at that meeting worth of 3,000.00 US DOLLARS.
We signed paper, contracts..and all that bs. I place an order for almost 40,000.00 US DOLLARS.....40 grands guys. not 2-3 hundreds ofDOllars.....40 GRANDS.

When i was about to pay those guys and finish the transaction of the guys said something in chinese....you know...bbla bla bla....something and i understood the word...RUN. I was hoping that i was wrong..but i wasn't. I was 100% for sure he said RUN.

I pretended that i didn't notice anything and start thinking ...NOW WHAT? WHAT DO I DO? ..so i told them that ...this is exactly what i told them.." I have to talk with my partner so he cand send me more money to buy more products from you. Everything lookds good and i think we can do business now. Let me go to my hotel and make some phonecalls and we talk later!" SOUNDS GOOD?...
They were in HEAVEN.
I got out from the restaunrat with the products my and went straight to hotel.....got out...straight to airport.......GOOD BYE. Never turned arround .

THis is the worst experience in my life. THose guys they could have killed me...or something.

Be extremely careful with them. They will do anything just to get some money from you..remember lying doesnt cost a thing. They will pretend and dress and rent cars and you name....just to get some money..in the end for them its free money...for us...well you very well how much we work..

Just be careful and do not dream with your eyes open..in the end its all about image...everybody cand start a fake business...make a fake website....fancy pictures...and post some names and ph numbers.......You have no ideea to whom you are sending money...

THE BEST WAY OF MAKING TRANSACTIONS WITH FOREIGN COUNTRIES from my point of view.

1. ask them if they do business overseas.
2. Ask in which countries.
3. IF they do business with your conutry....ask for at least 5 reference .NAME ADDRESS PHONE NUMBER
4 Remember that a serious company they will be more than happy to do that. A serious company they will provide you anything. A serious company wants to sell theirs products .
Make sure you contact those persons and talked with them....If they sound weird.......forget about it.

A serious company will accept to meet you anytime and anywhere . either you office or theirs.
A serious company has more options of payment. Pretty much any forms of transcations. If they don;t have it...they will provide it to you.

Guys don;t get excited when you see the prices....off course they are cheap....

Uh.... Your entire story of "fraud" is based upon you recognizing what you thought was the Chinese word for "run". This is probably the stupidest example of foreign ignorance I have seen in a long while.

I agree that most of the online Chinese "wholesalers" are scam artists (probably about 90%). That's why ideal in-person only. I travel to China a couple times a year, visit factories and take personal delivery of my goods. I have NEVER been ripped off this way. While I realize that most people can't afford to do this type of research, if you can, it is full proof.

Most likely the people you met weren't going to rip you off. What reason would they have had to "run" anyway? They could have taken your money and finished the deal and never shipped you anything if that was their intention. Running would have attracted lot's of attention and possibly even the cops.

I have also sent recorded mail to his bank, The Bank of China, but they don't reply, I intend to continue mailing the bank till they reply, they should be more responsible for their client actions. I will now start sending record mail to the address for the company, I would also like the address of the local law office to report this individual

Hi, Please never make any shoppings from www.cngool.com. They are great cheaters, they will take your money, and say "product is sent", but you will never get it. They can even give me some computer-made, meaningless certificates or sending bill, but believe me they are all fake. already you can understand it from website, it is very ordinary, you even cannot use credit card, unfortunately i have been deceived....

If you pay via paypal and you havent received your tracking number the day after "which i always ask for" you have paid you should put a dispute with paypal then paypal will cancel the payment and hold the moneys until the dispute has been dealt with, then once they give you the tracking number end the dispute once you receive the package hope that helps

after when they received the "custom payment" from me,..they send me an email,..to thank me,...and havent herd of them sence,..they not even have a website anymore,..they phone number not exist anymore,..i even talked to them on the phone,..by the way ,..the only way you could order from them if you register on they website,..
well i did,...they tricked me,..amazingly so professional people....
